Saanich, B.C. – As Zellers prepares to close their doors, another opened for a couple drunk Uvic students with the munchies. When the starving students stumbled on an open garage, they couldn’t resist swiping a couple of bags of Zellers BBQ chips. Fortunately, the owner`s fearless Kung Foo Chihuahua raised the alarm, and the Chip Bandits were caught red handed by police and charged with breaking and entering … a chip bag.
“Canadian crime news is everything you want it to be,” writes Samir Mezrahi on BuzzFeed. “I can’t make this stuff up.”
When the chips are down, what do UVic students say? “My name is Joe, I am Canadian, and I like a Saanich and Zellers BBQ Chips with my Molson Canadian!“ … more or less.
